Freeware gem - Enkoder

I've been messing around with a program called "Enkoder" from a company called Automatic. I found the program on download.com. It's supposed to protect email addresses on websites so that they don't (as easily) get targeted for spam. As per their site:

Posting your email address on a website is a sure-fire way to get an Inbox full of unsolicited email advertisements. The Enkoder protects email addresses by converting them into encrypted JavaScript code, hiding them from email-harvesting robots while revealing them to real people.

I'm trying it now on a few of my photo sites. I'm using a newly created email address on my domain, so it should hopefully be a good test to find out how long it stays "hidden." If this works though, it would be great! Most of the spam I get now is probably related to having my address on hundreds of gallery pages.
