Warning: Band-Aids strongly recommended
You may notice some changes to omarphillips.net (this site really needs a good name...) recently. Most notably, there is now a "Poll of the Week" over in the sidebar.
Seriously folks, how awesome am I? I am so cutting edge, you are all bleeding right now, just from reading my blog.
Important Note: If you are a hemophiliac, then man, I feel terrible. But I'm so cutting edge that I can't be selective of which readers I make bleed.Bill Gates just left a message on my voice mail. I just got off the phone with NASA, they were asking for some advice on the next launch. After I'm done with this blog post, I'm going to put the finishing touches on this new bluetooth cell phone/mp3 player/plasma TV I'm building.
Then I'm going home, where me and my 5-month old are going to play chess. He doesn't realize he has opposable thumbs yet, so we won't be playing with regular chess pieces on a board. We'll be playing on the computer I built, running an operating system I wrote, with a custom input device for him that I threw together from some leftover parts from the hydrogen car I built (the game, however, was purchased at Best Buy).
Phew. That was exhausting. Anyway, sorry for getting so worked up. For geeks like me, getting that poll to display properly was a big deal.
Try and keep pressure on the wound. Insurance should cover any necessary stitches. And keep visiting. Enjoy the poll of the week.

eh? I used Firefox when creating it! I spent two days checking it out on every Windows/Mac browser I could get my hands on!What version of Firefox? (tested 1.0.1 and 1.0.3) If you're using an older version, then that's further proof that I'm cutting edge.If anyone else is having problems seeing it, let me know.

Yay for poll of the week! I gotta say, it's neat-o. Being technologically retarded, I must admit wonder and awe.

Firefox is working ok for me... the blood is messing up my keyboard though, so I think I should go stop bleeding now.

I wanted to add, the title "Poll of the week" might be misleading. I'll change it at my leisure. Shouldn't be more than a week though.steff - I told you it was an excellent quote! Your name beneath the quote does link to your site. One might argue that this link is more prominent than the others. girlspit & sarah - Impressing, leaving you awe struck, these are all goals of mine. I'll try to keep it up. Compared to some of the guys I work with though, I could use a technological handicapped sticker myself.jon - In my defense, I warned you with the title of the post.
