Good News
I love good news.
Of course that's not earth-shattering, everyone likes good news. But I'm not talking about regular good news, like "hey, you've been parked illegally for 5 hours, but you didn't get towed!" Not even like Maury Povich good news, like when Jethro finds out that he's not Jenna's baby's daddy on Maury's latest paternity test results show. "OOOOHHHHH, I told you it wasn't me! You's a ho, Jenna! My momma told me you was a ho! Thank you, Maury!" (Jenna runs off stage crying...)
No, the good news I got today is way better than that. Tim Hortons, which is approximately 22 steps away from my house, now accepts credit cards.
I'm sorry, I need a minute. Excuse me...

maury SO is all about the paternity tests. but you know whom i miss the most? jenny. as in jenny 'your teenager dresses too sexy' jones. and what the hell happened to ricki lake? howcome jerry springer is still hanging around?
but let's cut to the chase: what's Tim Horton's? is that an east coast thing? (it's gotta be damn good if it's better than realizing you're not towed -- not that i'm especially biased or anything)

Yikes. That'd be like, if Krispy Kreme took plastic. Wait, they probably do. Never mind. It's not like that at all. Does this mean Towering Debt in your future, or simply extended convenience?

Official end of the diet, perhaps?

I am so jealous that you live walking distance to Tim Horton's. Let alone that you could now charge millions of dollars worth of Timbits and coffee, if you wanted to.
Here in Indiana, where it is still 1946 (because we don't change time for daylight savings) we have no Tim Horton's. It is sad.

I don't even know what Tim Horton's is, but I see they sell food. I can relate, as I am obsessed about the rumor of them building an Arby's here in my own town - like 2 miles away.
I. Can't. Wait.

Tim Horton's is CANADA's GIFT to YOU.
THAT's what Tim Horton's is!
Timmy's is a Canadian donut chain that has instilled maple flavours in our hearts for a couple decades now. Any town in Canada will come with a Tim Horton's in it.
Unfortunately, Tim's is now owned by Wendy's, which is why you're finding them everywhere in the States now.
Still, it's all part of our Canucklehead plan to slowly dominate and control the world.
One maple-cream donut at a time.
