I may have said this before, but I don't tend to see very many movies. Everyone around me is always referencing movie quotes that I don't understand, going to midnight shows, etc. The last thing I saw in the theater was Episode III in May. Before that, whatever Harry Potter movie it was that came out in the summer of 2004.* I will, however, occasionally get sucked into watching a movie on TV.

In related news, I'm still inexplicably getting HBO.

So tonight, these two notable items converged. I was flipping through the channels. The Penn State football game had finished, the boy was in bed, and the wife was getting some scrapbooking done. I wasn't looking for anything in particular, I was just flipping. And I came across Catwoman on HBO. Now, if you haven't seen Catwoman, and you've been dying to do so but you're just waiting for verification that hell has frozen over completely, I should warn you that there are spoilers ahead.

So here's what happens. (I'm a little fuzzy on the details of the first half hour, as I was still flipping between this and the Michigan/Northwestern game.) Halle Berry has long hair. Then, she gets killed. But then she gets revived by a cat. Then she cuts her hair, and she walks around with a swagger and a lot less clothing. Then there's something about toxic makeup. She gets framed for murder. Her cop boyfriend struggles with this. Then Sharon Stone admits that she did it, and that she will sell the toxic makeup. Then Sharon, wearing a sufficiently tight and revealing outfit, fights Halle, who is wearing a very tight and revealing outfit, to the death. Halle wins, Sharon dies. All the women are safe from the toxic makeup. Halle cartwheels and swaggers off into the moonlight, leaving the door open for a sequel.

So here's my review: It was boring. Then cheesy. Then predictable. Then AWESOME. And then it was over.
