Welcome, ladies and gentlemen, to the 150th omarphillips.net post.

The timing of this was supposed to be perfect, as it was going to coincide with the 20,000th hit. What a celebration that would have been! However, someone, who shall remain nameless, kind of went against an implied rule in the 20,000th hit contest.

This is how someone got disqualified (click the preview to see the full image). Note the amount of time between this person's hits:

Implied rule 58, section b, verses 6-7: In the event that a contest is based on page loads (or "hits"), contestants shall be disqualified from said contest if they continually refresh the page, unless there is the expectation on the contestant's part that the content of the page will be different as a result of refreshing the page. If there is doubt about the contestant's expectations, the decision will be left to the site administrator.

Well, not that there was any doubt about the expectations, but I'm the site administrator and I say that this person is disqualified. Besides, this person is already ineligible as a past contest winner.

But this is post #150. I don't want to talk about bad things, like disqualifications. The 150th post was supposed to be good. It was preemptively awarded the omarphillips.net seal of quality.

So I'll talk about something that makes me happy. Like the BlackBerry. Me and the BlackBerry went out to Tim Horton's for coffee and doughnuts this morning. It was fun. We read some emails, sent some emails, ate some tasty treats, checked the MegaMillions numbers from last night's drawing... Tonight, I'll be working on Photoshopping the BlackBerry into some of our family photos.

What's that, BlackBerry? ... No I won't say that on the internet! You're so crazy!

It's going to be a sad day when they split us apart. A sad day indeed.
