Where are the change of address forms?
20 hours before this photo was taken, it was 63 degrees and sunny.

If you live in a place where winters are warm, prepare a guest room. The Phillips family is going to be staying with you for a few months. If you don't mind, be a doll and pick up some Lactaid milk (1%) and a few boxes of cereal for me. You don't want me around in the mornings unless I have some cereal. See you soon!

Friday I put the top down on my car and the girl and I went out for a ride by the lake. Saw a few other people out there dumb enough to have the top down too.
My roomie got his motorcycle out of storage and rode around all day. Saw a ton of bikes on the road when we were riding around.
The next day, my doors were frozen shut.

Head for Florida. Nobody else does that during winter.
Okay, sorry for the sarcasm. Come on down! Except I have to warn you, few people call me "doll" to my face. That's all I'm saying.

Unbelievable. I woke up this morning to a white universe, when only a few hours earlier, I had gone to sleep in a gray concrete one. Sorry, but I'm not in the right place to visit right now.

Yeah, I'm not in the right verse either. Spectacular weather yesterday, and even better the day before, but snow today.

I prefer the term lamb over doll, and while it is fairly warm here in Southern California, I’m afraid we just can’t compete with the amazing humidity that Florida has to offer. So I understand if you want to go there instead.
By the way, I was the first to vote on the new poll. My pick is Denver. Not because I think they are a great team that everyone else underestimates, and not because Mile High is the best home field advantage I think a team can have, but because they are the team that finally broke that stranglehold New England had on dumb luck plays going their way. But I should also state that I fear Steve Smith like no other.

Awww... we were suppose to get that mess too, but it passed us right by!!! (in a sing-song voice)
Althought it does look quite pretty!

You could send some of that snow over this way. All we got is greyness and dampness and it's making me sour. The cold I don't mind, as long as it's purty. London ain't purty.

What a lovely picture!

Indiana is surprisingly temperate and sunshiny at the moment. However, it is also very, very dull here. And while the current sunshine and 45 degrees is subject to change, the dullness is not. So though of course the Phillips family would be welcome to visit, I wouldn't recommend it.

It's like that here, too.

Woo hoo! I'm gettin' visitors. Gotta haul that junk outta the guest quarters, move the hog to another room, find out what those droppings belong to....
But at least it's warm!

So it's humid Florida, but I can't say doll; SoCal #1 but I have to say "lamb"; or SoCal #2 with vague animal droppings?
Tough choice. I'll have to consult the family and get back to you.

It’s not a deal breaker, I just prefer lamb… or peach… or dove… and sometimes cow, but that sounds more insulting than it does a term of endearment. I’m just saying… I’m wifi capable too, if that matters. And I’m close to having MythTV up and running… Again… I’m just saying…

WiFi is definitely a plus. I think the only fair way to decide is to ask: who has the biggest TV?

Well, currently it’s a 35” flat screen (not flat panel) that weighs approximately 728lbs. But that’s my roommates. If all goes according to plan, sometime in the next 2 months I will upgrade to a home theater projector which will give me somewhere around a 70 to 80” screen and yes, it will be in high def. (either 720p or 1080i, I haven’t decided which I prefer. They say 720p is better for sports, but I’m not sure. I can only imagine then that 1080p would be superior to both and thus the only real option.) The receiver doesn’t currently support 1080p, but the projector most likely will and I don’t think I’ll be sticking with Dish Network for much longer. They kind of suck a lot. So perhaps the next high def receiver we get will have better support.
