Last night, I had to move the boy's carseat from my car to another car. I check the boy's carseat to make sure that it's positioned securely every once in a while, but it's not often that I completely remove the seat from the car.
I loosened and shifted the seat, uncovering about a dozen Goldfish crackers, two dozen Cheerios, and a few dried up peas. I was starting to worry that I might find some bugs down there, when all of the sudden, a small man, who I visually determined to be of Laotian descent, hopped out from under the carseat! He yelled something at me in another language, then jumped out the car door and ran away, so I never got to find out what his story was. Crazy stuff.
On the positive side, I did find $.65 in coins and one of my socks.

I think I can honestly say that I’ve never once found coins in any of my socks… Sadly, I cannot say that I’ve never had a small Laotian man run out of my car after screaming some obscenities at me in another language…

I've never found even a sock. All I get when forced to see what lurks beneath a car seat is that waft of odor that warns me not to think too much. Blech.

I assume that the tiny dude was mad that you were taking away his rations?
And, that is a constant concern at the syllables house, too- that some sort of life will come to subsist on the paste of graham crackers and juice that makes up our back seat....blech.

PS: What's up with your poll? Choose Boston or the Yankees?! Damn it man, we don't root for those east-coast-liberal-elitist teams here in the heartland. What about the dang Tigers? Well?!

The center of the Universe lies under my toddler's carseat. I don't even move it anymore because then I'd have to face the crusted and curdled milk stains that lies beneath.

I'd vote in your poll, but I don't know much about rounders.

sounds like a job for Bubba! But what if it turns out the $.65 in coins is the little man's? Who would Bubba let off?

so is pdp working on his second language already? laotian (?) will probably come in handy when you want to talk smack about people at the mall. but since he ran away at the sight of you, does that mean you're going to have to go with the "this-is-my-horse"-style Rosetta Stone method?
but i am very impressed by your ability to determine his heritage with visual clues.

i LOVE the ninjas. can't wait to see what onj has to say.
btw, the main frame is a little cut off on the left in i.e. whatever it is here at work.

17 - The Tigers? I'll give them a break this year, because they're playing well. As for the poll, it's not so much "who is your favorite team," think of it more as "who do you hate less?"
cadiz - Thanks for the tip about it displaying weird in IE. It should now be fixed.

PS- I'm gonna miss the haboob, but CCode is the way to go. I was getting 700 spams a week before I installed it. Since then, ZERO.
