Pie of the Month: August 2006
This month, I made tried to make a custard pie.

That piece in the picture? It's not from my pie. In fact, I don't really think I want to talk about my pie. Nope.

Custard pie is gross anyway... don't worry about it man. Custard pie doesn't deserve you. It probably would have gotten you sick or something. Vole poison would have accidentally gotten knocked in the batter. Really. It's okay.

yeah, it's grody. coconut cream, on the other hand...

custard is hard.
not gonna lie.

you know half the effort is trying.
did you feed the wee ninjas with the erm...omar-ized custard pie? those tykes look like they need feeding.
(which is my way of saying, who cares if the pie didn't turn out right? your ever changing templates rocks my socks!)

The wee ninjas erase any negative thoughts about custard pies. They are that good.
I'm telling you, try boysenberry. Much better than custard.

Definitely a positive on the redesign...most fab, man!

Those are some of the most deadly, gingerbread-looking, Wee Ninjas I have ever seen. And I’m not trying to tell you what to do with your life or anything, but if the Wee Ninjas were to some how make an appearance in LawnTerror 3.0, that would be keen.
As for the post, (let’s face it though, all these posts are now is a chance for people to praise the ninjas) um… Cus and Tard should never be put together. You dodged a bullet on this one.

I'm going to take it a step further and say that everything that happens on this site from this day forward is in praise to the ninjas. Comments, posts, everything.
But regarding the Wee Ninjas - they're not my creation. I don't want people to think I'm acting like I invented them. Consequently, legal issues may get in the way of them appearing in LawnTerror 3.0. Know that I've got my legal team working on it, though.

Mmmm, custardy goodness! Never had custard pie, but my grandma always made custard with nutmeg on top. Now I want some. Wonder what it would taste like in a crust. I like peach pie. I think you should make that next.

I'm not really a fan of schadenfreude per se, but this post made me laugh quite a lot.
That said, I am pretty sorry for your loss.

Omar, in times like these it's best to remember W.W.J.D.?
What Would Julia (Childs) Do?
We have a new ice cream place close to us called "Custard's Last Stand"! I'm assuming that nobody will ever nickname you General Custard after this custard calamity, Omar.

Shame about the custard. I like custard. If a thing's worth doing, it's worth throwing down the well.
The Wee Ninjas are great. I like them almost as much as I like custard.

The ninjas? Bah da da duh duh.....I'm LOVIN it!
You should have a naming contest for them, Omar. I propose Inky, Dwayne, and Bubba.
