The Chase - Volume 1
I graduated in the top 10% of my high school class. I graduated from college with a respectable 3.4 GPA. I started a family. I've given to charity. I built a stepstool and table. I have made good investments. I've learned plenty of marketable skills. I've done lots of things in my life that I think have made my parents very proud of me.
But I hope you enjoy it anyway, internet.

Though sound is not required, it's better if you can hear the accompanying music.

Aw. I just read your comment. I have no speakers.
Never mind, any excuse for multiple replays!

Well played, Omar.
Well played indeed.

So are you a ninja, or are ninjas doing your dirty work?

I am very impressed! That's great and I can't wait to see what's next. Perfect tune for it, too. :)

By the way, I think the parents should be proud. I'm a parent, and I would be.

Mere words cannot express my awe. Unfortunately neither can any form of currency, so don't expect a lump-sum expression.
Hmm... that's kind of what the vole gave you, wasn't it?
Cate said:
Dude. I'm disappointed you didn't call it Lawn Wars: Episode I, The Phantom Vole.

Excuse me as I go and play that back one or twelve more times.

NICE! Exactly what I needed to make me smile while I'm trapped at my desk eating leftover enchiladas. Can't wait for Vol II

I think someone has too much time on his hands. I'm just not sure who that someone is.

my boyfriend really showed you, didn't he!

I just hope the sequel lives up to the original. The last thing we need is another 2 Fast 2 Furious… But I have faith in you Omar.
glo said:
Whoa! I am thoroughly impressed and MAY stop telling people you'll full of yourself.
Maybe.
Because after this, you're bound to be all sorts of prideful.
As always, homages are paid and much deserved. You are one awesome web guy.

I MAY also learn to read and spell. No promises there, though. My apologies for the above.

Er...that's Benny Hill music, eh? My husband told me that. Actually he heard the music and asked, "Are you watching Benny Hill? I always HATED that show." So, it might be better with Mission Impossible music, and exploding stuff. Just a thought.

Thanks all, for the feedback!
I've been asked offline by a few separate people, so let me be more specific. In a high school class of around 330, my class rank at graduation was 21. (It was 16 before my senior year. I might have started coasting a little early.) I was the top-ranked black male in the class, so if all the white folks, Asian folks, and black girls had transferred, I would have been valedictorian.
daniel - Both. I'm a ninja AND I have other ninjas doing my dirty work.
Lia - This is, perhaps, the most crudely assembled animation in the history of Flash animations. I certainly hope it does not appear as though I spent a lot of time on it.
carrot - I don't think anyone ever really liked the Benny Hill show, except the pre-teen boys who got to see girls in their underwear on TV. The song itself is called "Yakety Sax," and it wasn't until recently that I learned it wasn't written for the show, it was an existing song that the show used. But anyway, I like your "exploding stuff" idea, and that may be incorporated in Volume II.

It was my husband that said he always hated that show, and he was a pre-teen boy, lol.

i think my favorite part is the vole-poo.
but i have to tell you - my pops heard the benny hill music and asked what channel it was on so he could tune to it. he was simultaneously disappointed that it wasn't actually benny hill, and impressed that you chose that as your soundtrack.

and i like the new holiday look - but can the third ninja have antlers? and a red nose?
or be in swaddling clothes in a manger?
just suggestions - this is your site, after all.

Just when I thought,
"Okay where is the toilet joke?"
There it was. Nice.
Rhonda said:
That rocks.
I second Becky's motion for a ninja with a red nose. Maybe it could glow and blink...since you are so talented and all.

The greatest ninja versus vole masterpiece of all time!

I put antlers and a red nose on the ninja, but now he looks like a bird or something. I may try the swaddling cloth in the manger. Or maybe a corn cob pipe and a button nose and two eyes made out of coal.
Becky said:
YEA! i love it!
Rhonda said:
He looks just like a ninja reindeer! Yeah!
