The Chase: Volume 3
A little over a year ago, omarphillips.net got its 2000th comment. At that time, I promised the 2000th commenter a cameo role in the very first omarphillips.net movie.
Better late than never, right? Glo, you're welcome.
The Chase: Volume 3 is here. You might want to pre-screen this one before you let the kids watch.
UPDATE:
I forgot to include links to the other two, in case anyone hasn't seen those yet.

OMG! You killed Glo! How could you?!?! She was just spreading the good word of broccoli and you killed her!!! Foul, I cry. Foul!

P.S. Any spelling errors in previous post are totally my sister's fault. Tess, the bad speller.

What is this, evil Glo? Glo would never side with the vole, would she?
Would she?

loved it. the blood, the throwing star, the chopsticks... all great.
glo said:
*sigh* He only loved me for my broccoli. Alas, this was not a difficult role for me to play. While I'm sure I was highly disapproving of the vole's evil nature, to love him would be a part of mine. Tis a sad, sad fact.

You will never believe this. I can barely do so myself. I don't know how it came up, but yesterday my dad and I were talking and the topic floated to voles. The result was nothing less than extraordinary. I need to look into it a bit more, but I may very well be sending you a late Christmas gift.

Glo And Her Vole- A tale of a shared appreciation of leafy greens and a forbidden interspecies love all brought to an untimely end by a shadowy figure in a Ralph Machhio costume.

I am so happy to see Glo finally take her place as a big movie star. Every time I hear "Eye Of the Tiger" I think back on Glo's killer dance routine for the 4th grade talent show. I thought maybe I'd get to see some rare footage of that. Too bad she died instead. She could have been a great dancer...

So…. Is Glo really dead? Or is this another one of those off camera implied deaths that keeps you up at night wondering if it really happened.
My current theory – The throwing star hit a can of red paint. The same can of red that Glo had been saving for a special occasion, hence the scream.
But alas, we shall never know! Or will we?

Wow...I'm stunned. Does this mean not sequel for Glo?

Glo all aglow with stars in her eyes........literally.

I did only promise Glo a cameo appearance. I never said that she'd be the subject of the movie, or even that she'd live through the movie.
As for the whole "did Glo's character really die?" question, I'm not at liberty to give any additional information. All of your questions may or may not be answered in part 4.
Welcome, c.bag!

You totally typecasted Glo for that part!

If I don't see you around Omar, have a very Merry Christmas, and thanks for livening up my life and broadening my horizons. The vole knowledge gleaned here the past 8 months is priceless.
Syar said:
How come you've never tried broccoli to trap the vole?
I love how the ninja did not just trained his agility and hand-eye coordination, but also how he trained his noggin with the punching bag.

I'm at my in-laws house and they only have DIAL-UP, so I am now queesy from watching the ninja spin round and round. Guess I will have to watch this tomorrow when I get back to my high-speed connection. :(
Merry Christmas!
P.S. Go to my blog...something special is waiting there just for you.

You'll be hearing from broccoli's agent. Something about a stalking clause in the contract.

(stalking clause- ha! good one, raj) I think glo will be back to flirt another day. I can't believe the ninja would kill her off. Yet.
glo said:
Just thought I'd drop in from the river Styx to say my family found this all very amusing.
And please note: broccoli makes you fat. My character proves it. Eat more chocolate.
glo said:
P.S. c.bag can't be trusted. She hasn't known me for years. And I would never do something so embarrassing at the wise age of 9.
Lia said:
Glo, I need you to be my dietician. Although I'm okay with broccoli, I can always do with medical advice recommending additional chocolate.

I just downloaded "the Chase" trilogy from Bit Torrent and I just had to visit your site. I gotta say the cinematography is breath taking and the action had me on the edge of my seat. Correct me if I’m wrong, but was that a fisher price "Little people" acting the part of Glo? Simply Brilliant. Looking forward to "the chase" part 4... Maybe Charlie Sheen can make a cameo... Keep up the good work.

*snicker* Benny Hill flashbacks on #1 there...
Thanks, omar. I'm going to have a very, very good day now. (The explosion in #2 was my favorite, I think.)
