Aaaand... time's up!

I thought this assignment might be a bit more challenging than the last, and for once, I was right. 30% of the photos submitted were accompanied by an email message either stating how lame the picture was, or saying how you think you can do better. I want to grab each of you by your collars, give you a small (but firm) shake, and say, "Don't you get it, man?! If you submit a photo that loosely follows the rules of the assignment within a couple of days of the deadline, you win!!" (dramatic pause) "You win!!" So if you were in that 30%, imagine that I just did that to you.

Also, several people also said they carried their cameras around with them all week and found no faces. If you really did bring your camera with you and you really did look for faces, then give yourself an "A" for effort. Actually, make that a B+. I'm not feeling that generous.

Click here to see the photos. (Javascript and Flash required, same as always.)

As always, thanks to everyone who submitted a photo. Also, thanks to NCS for the free advertising (that was free, right?). The results were great, and I even learned a few things. Most notably, I learned that I should carefully inspect any wood grain on anything I purchase. So thanks, Internet.
